Letter from Joan(Candy) S.

Oct 6, 2026

Dear Mr. Shalev and Mr. Herlinger,

I am Joe S's sister and I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the professional and compassionate care that your team delivers each and every day. From the moment I walked into your facility, I could feel the culture of caring, the cohesive teamwork and the high standard of care. Each and every individual, along with their family, are treated with dignity and respect. Your team honors privacy and creates a special experience for residents and their visitors.

Your support was truly impressive during the services for Joe's son, Glenn. Your participation in the services was a significant commitment and greatly appreciated. Your team not only bolstered Joe during a very difficult time but also lifted us up since we knew he was being cared for. He was groomed with attention to every detail. Your attendants are consummate and classy professionals and a beautiful reflection on the mission of Oasis. I am sorry I did not get their names to thank them personally.

I am a retired registered nurse and health care executive, serving Worcester and Springfield hospitals for over thirty years which may be why I am so impressed with the care you provide, it is simply second to none. I understand how difficult this is to accomplish and applaud you for your investment in your staff and your culture. I especially want to recognize your clinical supervisor, Renee. She is a star and provides meaningful leadership for your stand out staff.

My brother, Joe and his wife, Sue, are special to so many. They spent a lifetime giving and caring for others and now, in their time of need, I am grateful for the services that you provide.

Warmest Regards,
Joan(Candy) S.
