Dear Caregiver, I set out to write a comprehensive book with a fresh approach for caregivers and family members who are dealing and assisting individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. I gathered as much information as I could from over 25 years as an administrator of residential care and rest home facilities specialized in caring for individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. My goals for this book are simple – include as much information about how to assist individuals as possible, without overdoing it or confusing the readers, and leaving them with a care plan. Whether you are family members, nurse, caregivers, or other professional in the long-term care industry, this book is for you. Each chapter represents an essential element of care, or special guideline of what to do if a particular situation arises. Take these tools and resources and share with everyone who can benefit, and please put these ideas into action.
